Hello! My name is Dan Kaufman, and I am the proud owner of a promotional products company called DKG Promotions. For more than a quarter century I've been helping corporate, non-profit, and government clients promote, reward, thank, and incentivize using imprinted items (think: swag).
Then COVID-19 came along. And my business dropped to zero in a month. That's when the pivot happened. My suppliers started pivoting, too, and suddenly all of the supply chains that provided mugs and t-shirts and pens were changing to masks and hand sanitizer and other PPE. In short order, I became an expert in face masks, trying out different ones with different features and price points and production schedules and imprint methods. It was a little touch-and-go (well, without the touching) in the beginning, but now I am proud to call myself: Mask Man Dan!
I've put together fundraisers for colleges and youth groups, and produced imprinted masks for companies and organizations. I've done bulk purchases of disposable masks, and sold over 10,000 of them to friends and neighbors near and far.
